だから中盤の4人にすべきだったんです。Trentは中心に移動し、Gravさんの隣にいます。AMAとSzoboを真ん前のダブル10番として。

そうすれば、中盤の2人(AndreさんとLeminaさん)をオーバーロードすることができ、彼らの後ろの4人に攻められます。

でも、我々はそれをしなかった、代わりにSzoboとAMAをオーバーコミットしてしまった（2人とも昨日はひどかった）グラブは単独でアンドレ、レミナ、ゴメスとのトランジッションを守ることになりました。更に、CunhaもGravを占領していた。だから、我々は自分たちを5-5の状態にしてしまった。これは大失敗です。

The result massively papered over the cracks.

Slot went with a back 4 and a single pivot Grav. I thought he was decent but well below his best, because for some reason Slot played a 4-1-5, make that make sense.

I'm guessing the thought process was that Wolves would sit deep so we can create overloads with the wingers and 10's. But Wolves are at home and they've gone for it in every game.

Therefore he should've gone with a midfield 4. Trent inverting so he's alongside Grav. AMA and Szobo as the double 10's right in front of them.

That way you overload the 2 in midfield (Andre and Lemina) and you can get at their back 4.

But we never did that, instead we overcommitted Szobo and AMA. (Who were both dreadful yesterday) and hence Grav was left all on his own to defend the transition Vs Andre, Lemina and Gomes. Not to mention Cunha was occupying Grav aswell. So we left ourselves with a 5-5. Which is disastrous.

Going forward we can't do this again, we're extremely lucky that everyone in the defence has been excellent this season (apart from the Konate mistake).

Do this against Arsenal and Chelsea and we're getting battered. However if we play a 3-2-2-3. With an emphasis on the midfield being close to each other and going forward only when we progress the ball up the field, rather than running up the field as soon as we get the ball, then I think we'll comfortably beat both of them.

Slot is leaning and I'm enjoying his style of play alot this season, alot slower than Klopp's which makes it easier to watch.

However his selection of tactics game to game could do with being more consistent. 3-2-2-3 is the way forward for us, especially with the profiles of players we have in the squad rn.
